The Clifton Fire Protection District's primary response  spans from 30 road to 35 road and Interstate 70 to the Colorado River. Clifton Fire Protection District provides mutual and automatic aid to neighboring agencies within the county to include Grand Junction Fire Department, Palisade Fire Department, Mesa County Fire Authority, and when requested to Lower Valley Fire Department, and East Orchard Mesa Fire Department.
